- Gather all your ingredients to make the process smoother.
- Prepare the mozzarella sticks by cutting block mozzarella into even sticks, about 3-4 inches long.
- Set up your breading station with three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Coat each mozzarella stick in flour, dip it in the beaten eggs, and then roll it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to help the crumbs stick.
- Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C).
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange the mozzarella sticks in a single layer, ensuring they don’t touch each other.
- Lightly spray the tops of the mozzarella sticks with cooking spray.
- Air fry the mozzarella sticks for 6-8 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
