Ingredients

  • 2 medium Zucchinis Cut into fry-shaped pieces.
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs For coating the zucchini.
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese Adds flavor and richness.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder For seasoning.
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder For seasoning.
  • to taste Salt For seasoning.
  • to taste Pepper For seasoning.
  • 2 large Eggs Beaten, for coating.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil For spraying the air fryer basket.
  • to taste Fresh parsley Chopped, for garnish.

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • mixing bowls
  • cutting board
  • knife
  • Paper towels

Method

  1. Wash the zucchinis thoroughly and cut them into fry-shaped pieces, about 1/4 inch thick. Set aside on a paper towel to absorb excess moisture.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs. Dip each zucchini fry into the beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip off, then roll in the breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Lightly spray the basket with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  5. Place the coated zucchini fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove the fries from the air fryer and place them on a serving platter. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

These zucchini fries are a healthy alternative to traditional fries, perfect for snacking or as a side dish.
