Method
- In a bowl, season the fish fillets with paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and cold water to create a smooth batter.
- Heat oil in a large pan or deep fryer to 180°C (350°F).
- Dip each fish fillet into the batter, then carefully place it into the hot oil. Fry for 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the fried fish and drain on paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix Greek yogurt, lime juice, honey, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to make the sauce.
- Warm the tortillas in a pan or microwave for a few seconds.
- Assemble the tacos: place pieces of fried fish on each tortilla, then top with sliced red cabbage, avocado, and fresh cilantro.
- Drizzle with the yogurt-lime sauce and serve with lime wedges on the side.
Notes
For an extra kick, add some sliced jalapeños or a drizzle of hot sauce.
