  • 1/2 teaspoon Smoked paprika Provides a smoky flavor.

Salt and black pepper
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise Base for the bang bang sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons Thai sweet chili sauce Adds sweetness and spice.
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha For extra heat.
  • 1 teaspoon Honey Balances the flavors.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Lime juice Adds a refreshing zing.

Method
 

  1. Cut the salmon fillets into 1-inch cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.
  2. Drizzle olive oil over the salmon and sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Toss gently to coat.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth to make the bang bang sauce.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned salmon cubes and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Alternatively, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C), line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and bake the salmon bites for 10-12 minutes until flaky.
  6. Once cooked, toss the salmon bites in the bang bang sauce until well coated.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
