  • 1 cup steel-cut oats
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup almond milk or any milk of your choice
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup dried fruit like raisins or cranberries
  • 1/2 cup nuts like walnuts or pecans
  • Fresh fruit for topping like bananas or berries

Method
 

STEP 1: PREPARE THE OATS
  1. Combine Ingredients: In your crockpot, mix together the steel-cut oats, water, almond milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Stir well to combine.
STEP 2: COOK
  1. Set the Crockpot: Cover the crockpot and set it to low heat. Let it cook for about 6-8 hours overnight, or until the oats are tender and creamy.
STEP 3: ADD FRUIT AND NUTS
  1. Stir in Add-ins: Once the oats are cooked, stir in the dried fruit and nuts. Mix well to distribute evenly.
