Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds sirloin steak or chuck roast cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 3 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Pat the steak bites dry with paper towels and season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and onion powder.
  2. Optional: Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear steak bites for 1-2 minutes per side until browned.
  3. Add steak bites to crockpot along with beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, and dried thyme. Stir to combine.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until meat is fork-tender.
  5. Stir in melted butter during the last 10 minutes of cooking for extra richness.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately, or store for meal prep.

Notes

Store leftovers in refrigerator for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat gently to maintain tenderness.
