Ingredients
  

Fruits
  • 1 large Banana Ripe, adds creaminess and sweetness.
  • 1 cup Strawberries Fresh or frozen, for natural sweetness.
Greens
  • 1 cup Spinach Packed with nutrients, blends well.
Liquid Base
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt Adds creaminess and protein.
  • 1/2 cup Almond milk Non-dairy option, can substitute with coconut milk.
Optional Sweeteners
  • 1 tablespoon Honey For added sweetness, optional.
Ice
  • 1 cup Ice cubes For a chilled smoothie, optional.

Method
 

  1. Prepare the ingredients by peeling and slicing the banana, washing the strawberries, and rinsing the spinach.
  2. In a blender, combine the banana, strawberries, spinach, Greek yogurt, and almond milk.
  3. If desired, add honey for sweetness.
  4. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add more almond milk to reach the desired consistency.
  5. For a chilled smoothie, add ice cubes and blend again until the ice is crushed and fully incorporated.
  6. Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately. Garnish with a slice of strawberry or a sprinkle of chia seeds if desired.
