- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into four oval patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
- Remove the patties from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add beef broth, ketchup, mustard, and soy sauce. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry. Gradually add to the simmering gravy while stirring continuously until thickened.
- Return the cooked patties to the skillet, spoon gravy over them, and let simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot, drizzled with gravy.
