Ingredients
  

  • 400 g Shrimp Peeled and deveined.
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter Adds a creamy texture and rich flavor.

  • 4 cloves Garlic Finely chopped to release their aromatic goodness.
  • 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes Adjust according to your spice preference.
  • 1 Juice of Lemon Freshly squeezed for a zesty kick.
  • 1 Zest of Lemon Adds an extra layer of lemon flavor.
  • 200 g Spaghetti or linguine Choose your favorite pasta for the base.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley Chopped, for garnish and added freshness.

Method
 

  1. Ensure shrimp are peeled and deveined. If using frozen shrimp, thaw in cold water for 15-20 minutes and pat dry.
  2. In a large skillet, combine unsalted butter and olive oil over medium heat. Allow butter to melt completely.
  3. Add finely chopped garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Sauté for about one minute until fragrant but not browned.
  4. Add the prepared shrimp to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Squeeze the juice of one lemon into the skillet and sprinkle in the lemon zest. Stir to combine.
  6. Add the cooked spaghetti or linguine to the skillet and toss gently to coat the pasta with the sauce.
  7. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.
