- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- Add the cold, cubed butter to the flour mixture and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to work it in until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Pour in the milk and stir gently with a fork until just combined. The dough should be slightly sticky.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and gently knead it a few times until it comes together. Pat it into a rectangle about 1 inch thick.
- Using a biscuit cutter or glass, cut out biscuits and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown on top. Let cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.
