Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour Provides structure and helps the biscuits rise.

  • 1/4 cup Unsalted butter Cold and cubed, essential for flaky layers.
  • 3/4 cup Milk Adds moisture for tender biscuits.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  • Add the cold, cubed butter to the flour mixture and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to work it in until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Pour in the milk and stir gently with a fork until just combined. The dough should be slightly sticky.
  • Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and gently knead it a few times until it comes together. Pat it into a rectangle about 1 inch thick.
  • Using a biscuit cutter or glass, cut out biscuits and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown on top. Let cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.
