- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the cold, cubed butter to the flour mixture and cut it in until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Pour in the cold buttermilk and stir gently until just combined.
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently 2-3 times until it comes together.
- Pat the dough into a rectangle about 1-inch thick and cut out biscuits using a biscuit cutter.
- Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
