Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked rice, shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, French onion soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Fold in sour cream and half the shredded cheese until blended.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading evenly.
  5. Top with remaining cheese and sprinkle French fried onions on top.
  6. Bake for about 35 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before garnishing with chopped parsley and serving.

Notes

Make sure to use cooked rice for this recipe; otherwise, it will not cook properly in the bake. Allow the bake to cool slightly after removing from the oven to help it set for easier serving.
