- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked rice, shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, French onion soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Fold in sour cream and half the shredded cheese until blended.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading evenly.
- Top with remaining cheese and sprinkle French fried onions on top.
- Bake for about 35 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before garnishing with chopped parsley and serving.
Notes
Make sure to use cooked rice for this recipe; otherwise, it will not cook properly in the bake. Allow the bake to cool slightly after removing from the oven to help it set for easier serving.
