- Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until pink, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until fully cooked and opaque.
- Pour in the freshly squeezed lemon juice and sprinkle in the lemon zest. Stir well and cook for another minute.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
