Method
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving some pasta water.
- In a large skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, but not browned.
- Add shrimp, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes until shrimp turn pink and opaque.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp and stir well.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together. If the mixture seems dry, add some reserved pasta water.
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flavor, add grated Parmesan cheese or white wine while cooking the shrimp.
