- Ensure shrimp are peeled and deveined. If using frozen shrimp, thaw in cold water for 15 minutes and pat dry.
- In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the chopped garlic and red chili flakes, stirring for about a minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, turning occasionally until they turn pink and opaque. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour in the vegetable broth and fresh lemon juice, stirring to combine. Allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss until well coated. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water.
- Plate the shrimp and spaghetti mixture, garnishing with freshly chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
