Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Sirloin steak Cut into 1-inch cubes for even cooking.
  • 1 lb Sea scallops Cleaned and patted dry to achieve a nice sear.
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter Adds richness and flavor.
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced for that aromatic touch.
  • to taste Salt Enhances the overall flavor.
  • to taste Pepper Enhances the overall flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil For cooking the steak and scallops.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley Chopped, for garnish and a pop of color.
Optional Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice A splash can brighten the dish and add freshness.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red pepper flakes For a hint of heat, sprinkle some in the garlic butter.
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh thyme or rosemary Can add an aromatic touch.
  • 1/4 cup White wine A splash in the skillet can create a delicious sauce.

Method
 

  1. Cut the sirloin steak into 1-inch cubes and season generously with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Clean and pat dry the scallops with a paper towel. Set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
  4. Increase heat to medium-high and add the seasoned steak cubes in a single layer. Sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the scallops in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and opaque. Remove from skillet and set aside with the steak.
  6. Return the cooked steak and scallops to the skillet, tossing gently in the garlic butter sauce. Heat through for an additional minute.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
