Chicken Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, and rosemary.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and sear for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over it, and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Let the chicken rest after cooking for juicier meat.
