Ingredients
  

  • 4 fillets Fish fillets (cod, tilapia, or haddock) Choose your preferred type of fish.
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese Adds a rich, cheesy flavor to the crust.
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs Use plain or seasoned breadcrumbs for added taste.
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced Fresh garlic gives a wonderful aroma and flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped Adds a pop of color and freshness.
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano A classic herb that complements the fish beautifully.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Enhances the overall flavor of the dish.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper Adds a hint of spice.
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil Helps bind the crust and adds moisture.
  • 1 lemon Lemon, sliced For garnish and a zesty finish.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  • Drizzle the olive oil over the breadcrumb mixture and stir until crumbly and well-coated.
  • Evenly distribute the garlic Parmesan mixture over the top of each fish fillet, pressing down gently to adhere.
  • Bake the fish fillets in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork, and the crust is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute before serving. Garnish with lemon slices.
