Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts about 1.5 lbs
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, and paprika until well blended.
  2. Add chicken breasts and coat thoroughly with marinade. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat or oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  4. Grill chicken for 6 to 7 minutes per side until golden brown with grill marks, or bake for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway. Chicken should reach internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  5. Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing into tenders. Serve hot with favorite dipping sauces or alongside fresh vegetables.

Notes

Marinate up to 4 hours for deepest flavor. Use meat thermometer to ensure doneness at 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Can substitute chicken thighs. Stores well for meal prep up to 3 days refrigerated.
