  • 1 egg

Step 1: Preheat the Waffle Iron

  • Heat it Up: Plug in your waffle iron and let it warm up. Lightly spray it with non-stick spray to prevent sticking.

Step 2: Prepare the Batter

  • Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of pancake mix, 1 egg, 1 cup of milk, and 2 tablespoons of oil or melted butter. If you like, add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract for extra flavor. Stir until everything is just mixed. The batter should be thick but still pourable. Be careful not to overmix so your waffles stay light and fluffy.

Step 3: Add Any Extras

  • Fold in Add-ins: If you want to add chocolate chips, berries, or nuts, gently mix them into the batter now.

Step 4: Cook the Waffles

  • Pour and Cook: Pour a ladle of batter into the center of the waffle iron and close the lid. Cook for 3-5 minutes or until the waffles are golden brown and crispy.
