- In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Heat over medium heat until it simmers, then cook for about 5 minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the honey bourbon glaze over them. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- In a medium saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the rice and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Pour in the broth, turmeric, and salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until cooked.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque. Garnish with parsley.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place marinated salmon on a lined baking sheet and brush with remaining glaze. Bake for 12-15 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve the dish by layering yellow rice, topped with salmon, sautéed shrimp, cheese broccoli, and Cajun corn.
