Method
- Gather all your ingredients and lay them out for easy access.
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, seasoned rice vinegar, and honey to create a quick marinade.
- If time allows, marinate the chicken breasts in the mixture for about 15 minutes.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large frying pan over medium to medium-high heat.
- Coat the chicken breasts in flour, shaking off any excess, and add them to the pan. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and almost fully cooked.
- Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside. In the same pan, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter and sauté the sliced garlic for 30-60 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the soy sauce mixture and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Return the chicken to the pan and let it simmer in the sauce for about a minute until fully warmed through.
- Plate the chicken and garnish with thinly sliced green onions before serving.
