  • 4 pieces Salmon fillets about 6 oz each
  • 0.25 cup Honey raw honey preferred
  • 0.25 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce low-sodium
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs dill or parsley, optional garnish
  • Lemon slices optional garnish
  • Sesame seeds optional garnish

Equipment

  • baking sheet
  • parchment paper
  • medium bowl
  • Whisk or fork
  • Plastic wrap

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour marinade over them. Cover and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Arrange marinated salmon fillets on prepared baking sheet. Pour remaining marinade over the top.
  5. Bake for 15–20 minutes until salmon flakes easily and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Broil for 2–3 minutes if a crispy top is desired.
  6. Let rest briefly, then garnish with herbs, lemon slices, or sesame seeds. Serve hot.

Notes

Use fresh, high-quality salmon. Marinate longer for more flavor. Add chili flakes or sriracha for a spicy variation. Serve with rice, veggies, or salad.
