Method
- Boil water in a kettle. Add dried butterfly pea flowers or tea bag to the hot water and steep for 5-7 minutes.
- Strain the tea to remove the flowers or tea bag and let it cool to room temperature.
- Pour 1/2 cup of milk into a separate container and froth it using a milk frother or shake in a sealed jar.
- Fill a glass with ice cubes. Pour the cooled butterfly pea flower tea over the ice, filling halfway.
- Slowly add the frothed milk on top of the tea to create a layered effect.
- If desired, add lemon juice to the drink and watch the color change from blue to purple.
- Garnish with fresh or dried butterfly pea flowers and serve immediately.
