Ingredients
  

Salmon Rolls Ingredients

  • 4 fillets Salmon fillets About 5 oz each, skin removed.
  • 1 pinch Salt To season the salmon.
  • 1 pinch Black pepper Freshly cracked, to season the salmon.
  • 1 cup Ricotta cheese Smooth and creamy.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Finely grated.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh basil Finely chopped.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon zest Adds freshness.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice For flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil For cooking.

Garnish Ingredients

  • to taste Fresh basil leaves For garnish.
  • to taste Lemon wedges For garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the salmon fillets by removing the skin and seasoning with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, chopped basil, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  • Spread an even layer of the lemon basil mixture over each salmon fillet. Roll the fillet tightly and secure with toothpicks if necessary.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the salmon rolls seam-side down in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
  • Remove the rolls from the skillet and let them rest for a minute before slicing.
  • Serve the Lemon Basil Salmon Rolls garnished with fresh basil leaves and lemon wedges.
