  • 4 fish fillets salmon, tilapia, or cod
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley chopped, for garnish
  • optional seasonings garlic powder, paprika, etc.

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Place fish fillets on the prepared sheet. Season with salt, pepper, and optional spices like garlic powder or paprika.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter and lemon juice until combined.
  4. Drizzle the lemon butter mixture evenly over the fillets.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Use fresh fish fillets for the best result. Optional: top with lemon slices or a sprinkle of breadcrumbs before baking. Great served with roasted potatoes or a light salad.
