Ingredients
  

  • 4 fillets Salmon About 6 oz each, fresh salmon is the star of this dish.
  • 1 bunch Asparagus Trimmed, adds a delightful crunch and is packed with nutrients.
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil Helps to keep the salmon moist and enhances flavor.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced, brings a wonderful aroma and depth to the dish.
  • to taste Salt Essential seasoning to enhance flavors.
  • to taste Pepper Essential seasoning to enhance flavors.
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano Adds a hint of earthiness to the dish.
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika Gives a subtle smokiness and beautiful color.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Wash the salmon fillets under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • Trim the asparagus by snapping off the tough ends.
  • Mince the garlic cloves, zest the lemon, and juice it, ensuring to catch any seeds.
  • In a small bowl, combine minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, oregano, paprika, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Mix well to form a marinade.
  • Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, coating evenly. Let sit for about 10 minutes.
  • On one side of a sheet pan, place the trimmed asparagus and drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Season with salt and pepper, then toss to coat.
  • Place the marinated salmon fillets on the other side of the sheet pan, ensuring enough space between them and the asparagus.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the asparagus is tender yet crisp.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
