Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Large shrimp Peeled and deveined.
  • 1 bunch Asparagus Trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces.
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil For sautéing.
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes Optional, for heat.
  • Salt to taste Salt Enhances flavor.
  • Pepper to taste Pepper Enhances flavor.
  • 1 lemon Lemon Zested and juiced.
  • Fresh parsley for garnish Fresh parsley Chopped.

Instructions
 

  • Clean and dry the shrimp, ensuring they are peeled and deveined.
  • Trim the woody ends off the asparagus and cut them into 2-inch pieces.
  • In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the asparagus and sauté for about 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then remove from skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Return the cooked asparagus to the skillet with the shrimp. Stir in lemon zest and lemon juice, tossing everything together for about 1 minute until heated through.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.

This dish is quick to prepare and can be customized with different vegetables or proteins.
