  • 1/4 cup Fresh Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed for best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil High-quality for best results.
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard Adds tang and helps emulsify.
  • 1 teaspoon Honey or Maple Syrup For sweetness; use maple syrup for vegan option.
  • Salt and Pepper To taste.
  • 1 clove Garlic (optional) Minced for added flavor.
  • Fresh Herbs (optional) Chopped parsley or basil for freshness.

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, combine the fresh lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and honey or maple syrup. Whisk until well blended.
  • Gradually add the extra virgin olive oil while continuously whisking to emulsify the dressing.
  • Add minced garlic, salt, and pepper to taste. Whisk again to combine.
  • If desired, stir in chopped fresh herbs.
  • Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Notes

Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor. Store leftovers in the fridge and shake well before using.
