Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz Tortilla Chips Choose your favorite brand for the best crunch.
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Adds a sharp flavor.
  • 1 cup Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese This cheese melts beautifully.
  • 1 can (15 oz) Black Beans Rinsed and drained, adds protein and fiber.
  • 1 cup Cooked Chicken Shredded (or ground beef), choose your preferred protein.
  • 1/2 cup Diced Tomatoes Freshness is key!
  • 1/4 cup Sliced Jalapeños Fresh or pickled, for that spicy kick!
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream Adds creaminess.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro Chopped, for a burst of freshness.
  • 1 whole Avocado Diced, creamy and delicious!
  • 1/4 cup Sliced Green Onions For a mild onion flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chili Powder Adds a warm spice.
  • to taste Salt and Pepper Essential for seasoning.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the tortilla chips evenly across a large baking sheet.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese generously over the chips.
  • Evenly distribute the rinsed black beans and shredded chicken over the cheese layer. Season with chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and add fresh toppings: diced tomatoes, sliced jalapeños, diced avocado, and green onions.
  • Drizzle sour cream over the nachos and sprinkle with fresh cilantro before serving.
