Method
- Preheat your oven to 425°F to ensure even cooking.
- Pour the chicken or vegetable broth and 2 tablespoons of melted butter into a 9×13-inch baking dish. Place the dish in the oven for 10 minutes to allow the sauce to reduce and enhance its flavors.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the remaining butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Add the shrimp and toss well to coat evenly.
- In a separate bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and 2 tablespoons of melted butter to create the crispy topping.
- Remove the preheated baking dish from the oven. Spread the shrimp in a single layer in the dish for even cooking.
- Sprinkle the prepared breadcrumb topping evenly over the shrimp to add a crispy layer.
- Bake the shrimp for 12 minutes or until they are opaque and slightly pink. For a crispy golden-brown topping, broil on high for an additional 1-2 minutes, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
For extra zest, serve with additional lemon wedges. Enjoy with a side of garlic bread or a fresh salad.
