- In a small bowl, combine maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and grated ginger. Mix well to create the marinade.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag. Pour half of the marinade over the salmon, ensuring each fillet is well coated. Cover or seal and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 200 °C (400 °F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Remove the salmon from the refrigerator and place it on the prepared baking sheet, skin side down. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Pour half of the remaining marinade over the salmon. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Halfway through cooking, drizzle the rest of the marinade over the salmon for added flavor.
- Once done, let the salmon rest for a few minutes before serving.
