Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and ground sausage. Cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  • Reduce the heat to low and add the softened cream cheese, sour cream, taco seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir until the cream cheese is melted and everything is well combined.
  • Add the black beans, chili beans, and diced tomatoes with green chilies. Mix thoroughly and let it simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the dip mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses evenly on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with tortilla chips for dipping.
