- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour three 9-inch round cake pans.

- Prepare the vanilla frosting by beating softened butter until creamy, then gradually add powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Assemble the cake by placing the chocolate layer on a serving plate, spreading chocolate frosting on top, adding the vanilla layer, spreading vanilla frosting, and finally topping with the strawberry layer and covering with strawberry frosting.
- Decorate with any remaining frosting as desired and serve.
