Ingredients
  

Crust Ingredients

  • 24 cookies Oreo cookies Crushed for the crust.
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted butter Melted for binding the crust.

Filling Ingredients

  • 16 oz Cream cheese Softened for a smooth filling.
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar Sweetens the filling.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract Adds flavor to the filling.
  • 2 cups Whipped topping Like Cool Whip, for lightness.
  • 12 cookies Oreo cookies Chopped for the filling.

Topping Ingredients

  • 6 cookies Oreo cookies Crushed for garnish.

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, combine crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter. Mix until well combined and resembles wet sand.
  • Press the Oreo mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x9-inch baking dish to form the crust. Set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  • Gradually add granulated sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
  • Gently fold in whipped topping until light and airy, then add chopped Oreo cookies and fold until evenly distributed.
  • Pour the cheesecake filling over the prepared crust and spread evenly with a spatula.
  • Sprinkle crushed Oreo cookies on top of the cheesecake layer for garnish.
  • Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to set.
  • Once set, cut into squares or bars and serve chilled.
