- Gather all ingredients and measure them out for easy access.
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then add to the pot. Cook for 5-7 minutes until cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same pot, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions, about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Once pasta is cooked, reduce heat to low. Stir in heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning until cheese melts and sauce is creamy.
- Return cooked chicken to the pot and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.
