Ingredients

  • 1 cup Milk Any type of milk, dairy or plant-based.
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt Plain or flavored for creaminess and protein.
  • 2 tablespoons Honey or maple syrup Natural sweetener for added sweetness.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract Enhances flavor.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon Adds warmth and spice.
  • 1/2 cup Fresh fruits Berries, banana, or apple for flavor and nutrition.
  • to taste Nuts or seeds Optional topping for crunch.

Method
 

  1. In a medium-sized bowl or jar, combine rolled oats, milk, yogurt, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Gently fold in your choice of fresh fruits, being careful not to mash them.
  3. Cover the bowl or jar with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.
  4. In the morning, stir the mixture. If too thick, add a splash of milk to reach desired consistency. Top with additional fruits, nuts, or seeds as desired.
