Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk dairy or plant-based
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds optional
  • fresh fruit or nuts for topping

Method
 

  1. Add rolled oats, milk, yogurt, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and chia seeds (if using) into a mason jar.
  2. Stir thoroughly—about 50 strokes—to combine everything evenly.
  3. For best texture, layer wet ingredients first, then add dry ingredients.
  4. Seal the jar tightly and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 6 hours. Keeps fresh for up to 5 days.
  5. Before serving, top with fresh fruit, nuts, or your favorite add-ins.
  6. Stir gently before eating. Enjoy chilled or warmed slightly.

Notes

Use old-fashioned oats for best texture. Add fruit in the morning to avoid mushiness. Greek yogurt thickens and enriches the oats. Shake or stir well before eating.
