Ingredients
  

For the Pancakes:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Turkey Bacon:
  • 8 slices turkey bacon

Method
 

STEP 1: MAKE THE PANCAKE BATTER
  1. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  2. Combine Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, mix the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Combine Mixtures: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay.
STEP 2: COOK THE PANCAKES
  1. Heat the Pan: Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Cook Pancakes: Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown. Repeat with the remaining batter.
STEP 3: COOK THE TURKEY BACON
  1. Cook Bacon: In a separate skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway through.
STEP 4: SERVE
  1. Plate and Enjoy: Serve the pancakes warm with crispy turkey bacon on the side. Add your favorite toppings like maple syrup, fresh fruit, or whipped cream.
