Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups almond milk or milk of choice
  • 2 ripe bananas 1 mashed, 1 sliced
  • 2 tbsp natural peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup optional
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • salt pinch

  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Jars or airtight containers

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, almond milk, mashed banana, peanut butter, chia seeds, maple syrup (if using), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
  2. Divide the mixture evenly between two jars or containers.
  3. Top with banana slices using the second banana.
  4. Seal the containers and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.
  5. In the morning, stir well and add a splash of milk for creamier texture if desired.
  6. Top with your choice of chopped nuts, extra banana, or a drizzle of peanut butter.

Notes

Use very ripe bananas for sweetness; avoid instant oats. Add cinnamon or cocoa for variation. Store up to 5 days. Can be served warm or cold.
