  • 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter Use creamy for best texture.
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 large Egg Can substitute with flax egg for vegan option.
  • 1 1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 24 pieces Chocolate Kisses Press into cookies after baking.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix the creamy peanut butter, granulated sugar, packed brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Add the egg and mix until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the peanut butter mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
  • Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and roll in granulated sugar. Place on ungreased baking sheets, spaced 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Remove from oven and immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.
  • Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
