Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Flank steak Thinly sliced against the grain for tenderness.
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce Adds a savory depth to the marinade.

  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil Used for cooking the steak and vegetables.

  • 1 tablespoon Oyster sauce Brings umami and depth to the dish.

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, combine the thinly sliced flank steak with soy sauce and cornstarch. Mix well and let marinate for about 15-20 minutes.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the marinated steak in a single layer and cook for about 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the steak and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the sliced onion and bell peppers, stir-frying for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  • Add the minced garlic and ginger to the vegetables and cook for an additional minute.
  • Return the cooked steak to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Pour in the beef broth and oyster sauce, stirring to combine. Allow to simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Drizzle with sesame oil and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot over cooked rice.
