Method
 

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the thinly sliced flank steak with soy sauce and cornstarch. Mix well and let marinate for about 15-20 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the marinated steak in a single layer and cook for about 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the steak and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the sliced onion and bell peppers, stir-frying for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Add the minced garlic and ginger to the vegetables and cook for an additional minute.
  5. Return the cooked steak to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Pour in the beef broth and oyster sauce, stirring to combine. Allow to simmer for about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Drizzle with sesame oil and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot over cooked rice.
