- Rinse the salted cod under cold water to remove some salt, then soak it in cold water for 24 hours, changing the water a few times.
- Peel and slice the potatoes into even pieces, then boil them in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Thinly slice the onions and chop the garlic. Sauté them in olive oil until soft and fragrant.
- In a baking dish, layer the cooked potatoes, followed by the flaked cod. Repeat the layering until all ingredients are used.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Drizzle olive oil over the top of the dish and bake for about 20 minutes until heated through and slightly golden.
- Garnish with sliced hard-boiled eggs, black olives, and chopped parsley before serving.
