Ingredients
  

  • 500 g Salted cod The star of the dish, providing a rich and savory flavor.
  • 800 g Potatoes Adds heartiness and texture, making the dish filling.
  • 2 medium Onions Sautéed onions bring sweetness and depth to the flavor profile.
  • 100 g Black olives Adds a briny contrast that enhances the overall taste.
  • 4 large Hard-boiled eggs Provides creaminess and a beautiful presentation.
  • 100 ml Olive oil Essential for sautéing and drizzling, adding richness.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced garlic infuses the dish with aromatic goodness.
  • 1 bunch Fresh parsley Chopped parsley adds freshness and color.
  • to taste Salt Essential seasoning to enhance all the flavors.
  • to taste Pepper Essential seasoning to enhance all the flavors.

Instructions
 

  • Rinse the salted cod under cold water to remove some salt, then soak it in cold water for 24 hours, changing the water a few times.
  • Peel and slice the potatoes into even pieces, then boil them in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • Thinly slice the onions and chop the garlic. Sauté them in olive oil until soft and fragrant.
  • In a baking dish, layer the cooked potatoes, followed by the flaked cod. Repeat the layering until all ingredients are used.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Drizzle olive oil over the top of the dish and bake for about 20 minutes until heated through and slightly golden.
  • Garnish with sliced hard-boiled eggs, black olives, and chopped parsley before serving.
