Step 1: Prepare the Potatoes
- Grate Potatoes: Peel and grate the potatoes using a box grater or food processor. Place the grated potatoes in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out excess moisture.
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the grated potatoes, grated onion, eggs, flour, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is well mixed.
Step 2: Cook the Pancakes
- Heat Oil: In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Form Pancakes: Take a small handful of the potato mixture and flatten it into a pancake shape. Place it in the hot oil.
- Fry: Cook each pancake for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
