Potato Pancakes

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups grated potatoes about 4 medium potatoes
  • 1 small onion grated
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil for frying

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare the Potatoes

  • Grate Potatoes: Peel and grate the potatoes using a box grater or food processor. Place the grated potatoes in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out excess moisture.
  • Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the grated potatoes, grated onion, eggs, flour, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is well mixed.

Step 2: Cook the Pancakes

  • Heat Oil: In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  • Form Pancakes: Take a small handful of the potato mixture and flatten it into a pancake shape. Place it in the hot oil.
  • Fry: Cook each pancake for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
