- Gather all your ingredients: banana, almond milk, cocoa powder, protein powder, almond butter, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and ice cubes.
- Peel the ripe banana and break it into chunks for easier blending.
- In a blender, combine the banana chunks, almond milk, cocoa powder, protein powder, almond butter, honey or maple syrup (if using), vanilla extract, and ice cubes.
- Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. Stop to scrape down the sides if necessary.
- Check the consistency. If too thick, add more almond milk and blend again until desired thickness is reached.
