  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream Used to make the ganache smooth and creamy.

  • 1 cup Strawberries Washed and dried, for dipping.
  • 1/2 cup Crushed nuts Almonds, walnuts, or hazelnuts for topping.
  • 1/2 cup Sprinkles Optional, for decoration.
  • 1/2 cup Mini marshmallows Optional, for decoration.

Method
 

  1. Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until it simmers gently, but do not let it boil.
  2. Remove the saucepan from heat and add the semi-sweet chocolate chips. Let it sit for about a minute, then stir until smooth. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  3. Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly. Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the chocolate ganache, ensuring it is fully coated.
  4. While the chocolate is still wet, roll the dipped strawberries in crushed nuts, sprinkles, or mini marshmallows for added decoration.
  5. Place the chocolate-covered strawberries on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
  6. Once the chocolate has hardened, arrange the strawberries on a serving platter and enjoy your sweet surprise!
