Instructions
 

  • Rinse the asparagus under cold water and snap off the woody ends.
  • Pat the asparagus dry with a paper towel.
  • Mince the garlic cloves finely.

  • Add the asparagus to the skillet and sauté for about 5 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
  • Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for an additional 2 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice, tossing to combine.
  • Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with fresh lemon zest before serving.
