Ingredients
  

Lobster Tails

  • 4 tails Lobster tails, split in half Fresh or thawed if frozen.
  • 2 tablespoons Melted butter For brushing the lobster.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika Adds color and flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder Enhances the garlic flavor.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt To taste.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper To taste.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil For searing.
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh chives, chopped For garnish.
  • Lemon wedges For serving.

Garlic Butter Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons Unsalted butter For the sauce.
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced Fresh garlic for flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream Adds richness to the sauce.
  • 1/4 cup Chicken broth For flavor in the sauce.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard Adds depth to the sauce.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt To taste.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper To taste.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice For brightness in the sauce.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Using kitchen shears, carefully cut down the top shell of each lobster tail and gently pull the lobster meat up slightly.
  • Brush the lobster meat with melted butter and season with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • In a pan, melt 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add chicken broth to the pan and let it reduce for about a minute. Then stir in heavy cream, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Place the lobster tails flesh-side down and sear for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  • Transfer the lobster tails to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for an additional 5-7 minutes until the meat is opaque and tender.
  • Plate the lobster tails and drizzle generously with the garlic butter sauce. Garnish with chopped chives and serve with lemon wedges.
