Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces Fettuccine pasta Perfect for soaking up the Alfredo sauce.
  • 1 pound Large shrimp Peeled and deveined for convenience.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For sautéing the shrimp.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced for flavor.
  • 1 cup Heavy cream Creates the creamy base of the Alfredo sauce.
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese Freshly grated for the best flavor.
  • to taste Salt Enhances the overall flavor.
  • to taste Black pepper Freshly ground for seasoning.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley Chopped, for garnish.

  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice Brightens the dish.

  • 1 cup Fresh spinach Adds nutrition and color.

Instructions
 

  • Rinse the shrimp under cold water, pat dry, and season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  • In a large pot, bring salted water to a rolling boil. Add fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir frequently for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Adjust the consistency with reserved pasta water if needed. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the cooked fettuccine and shrimp to the skillet, tossing gently to combine and coat the pasta in the sauce.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve hot, optionally with extra Parmesan cheese and a lemon wedge.
