Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup Olive oil Base of the marinade, adds richness.

  • 1/4 cup Fresh cilantro, chopped Adds freshness and color.

Instructions
 

  • Gather all ingredients and measuring tools.
  • In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, minced chipotle peppers, lime juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and honey. Whisk until well blended.
  • Place chicken pieces in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour marinade over chicken, ensuring all pieces are coated. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably up to 8 hours.
  • Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade, allowing excess to drip off. Cook chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh chopped cilantro.

This marinade is versatile and can be used for various proteins like pork or shrimp. Adjust marinating time based on the protein used.
